new member.i just bought a certifed 2010 prius from adams toyota in leessummit,mo.it has 29000 miles in new condition.i gave 20000.they were very pleasant to deal and no pressure.finance man tried to offer me the platinum warranty.i said no then he said i will let u have it for cost.so i git it for $995.probably wont ever need it based on previous toyotas ive owned.pick it up on jan 2nd.i wanted to wait till after the first of the year so i didnt have to pay property tax on it for this year.im excited,i hope it will live up to its claims.
Your certified Toyota warranty goes to 100K .... why would you spend another $1K on yet another extended warranty on top of the certified warranty ?? I'd use that $1K for the first 15,000 miles of fuel. These things very rarely break. Congratulations on your new Prius ... you'll love it. REV

yes i got a carfax,it was a rental.maybe i made a mistake getting the platinum warranty but it looked like it covered alot more items than the certified warranty.is that a correct statement?if not i can still cancell the platinum warranty.
