HID bulb pin

    I replaced the HID bulb on my 2007 Prius on the passenger side. I got the left side of the pin back in but I cannot for the life of me figure out where the right side is supposed to go.

    Did I not push the bulb in correctly? It seems to be the right side up

    or does the right side of the pin not hook onto anything?

    Thanks! I must have pushed the pin out of position because I could not get it to bend that far back. I will try again tomorrow

    From your initial pic the clip looks to be in a normal position prior to being hooked in place. Those clips are supposed to be compressed alot to keep tension on the bulb. It doesn't help that this is one of those tasks where you can see what need to do OR reach it with your hand- but not both at the same time. You have to do it by feel.
