I have a 2008 Prius. I recently received a copy of a class action lawsuit for HID headlights that fail prematurely. I am not a lawyer but it looks like doing nothing is the best bet for me. My headlights have not failed (yet). The warranty would evidently be extended. By the way, I did a search for this exact subject and didn't find it, although I may not be forum-savvy enough to see it. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks very much.
There is a thread on the subject. Thanks for posting the info after you didn't see one already up. Sometimes threads are hard to find so posting something twice is better than not at all.

howardbc, little search trick I've found...I just go to google and type whatever I'm searching for plus the word priuschat. Seems to work much better than the forum search!
I started doing that when I found out the search function wouldn't work on my phone. It is a much more efficient way to search the forum. Great tip, Mike!
A better tip is to instead include siteriuschat.com so that only results from priuschat.com are returned.
