Hid lights or HIR bulbs

    I just installed a set of 4300k hid convert they look blue to me I am wondering if I would have been better off with HIR bulbs as they are more closer to the white I may be looking for. I got the hid convert off ebay and they are the german slim ballest and the 4300k bulbs they were 65.00 bucks but they look blue to me. Any thoughts?

    well HIR bulbs will have no need for a ballast so no extra wiring. also you can get them more locally then hid kits

    4300s shouldn't be blue. Check and make sure you didn't get 6ks before changing. My 6ks are barely blue. I'll post pics later.

    If your 4300K then the seller gave you the wrong bulbs.
    However, a lot of no name brand kits provide kits that have inaccurate bulb ratings.
