All- My 2008 Touring Package 6 with HIDs is about 20 days out of warranty, and my driver's side HID has just gone out. I searched online and found out this is a well known weak spot, and that a class action lawsuit has been filed in NY, and that Toyota may offer some relief as prices for replacement are very high. Anybody know the real scoop? Sorry if this has been covered before. -MKL
This has been covered many times before. Several threads contain all you need to know. In a nutshell, the problem is usually bad HID capsules (bulbs). Toyota has dropped the price of them, but it's still cheaper to buy them elsewhere. Here is search for you: Google Tom
