I see lots of posts for switching Halogen to HID but does anyone know about switching from stock HID to to LED or Projectors?
Working on it right now. Have some Morimoto D2S projectors. Bulbs will be D4S, which are electrically compatible with the D4Rs currently installed. I've taken apart a broken hallogen style headlight assembly just for practice. Seems simple enough, but will have to use a real HID assembly. I don't think LED bulbs would produce a good pattern, so I'm sticking with HID. Biggest project appears to be cutting down the shrouds to fit the existing reflector shape.
