Hello all. I am the proud owner of a new 2011 Prius. Previously, I owned a 2008 II Gen, and really loved the car. Due to personal reasons, I traded it for a Matrix, and missed my Prius oh so much! So, I'm back I really love the look and feel of the IIIG Prius. While it is lighter, it "feels" heavier, and sturdier. In my opinion, it is a beautiful drive! I only have 600 miles on the car. When I break at very slow speeds, I hear a slight tweet coming from what seems to be the break pedal. It seems to be like air pressure or something coming from the pedal itself, and not the breaks squeaking, but I may be wrong. This made me do some research on this wonderful sight, and I learned about the TDI from Toyota regarding break noise on certain production models. My VIN matches the range on that TDI. I guess my questions are: 1) Has anybody else experienced this? 2) Should I be worried about it? 3) If it gets worse, will the dealership fix free of charge as a result of the TDI? No troll here I love my car! Just looking for some advice. Thanks! It's good to be back!
