Hissing noise under steering wheel?

    So I have an odd hissing noise from underneath of the steering wheel (back of engine bay area, around front left wheel as well) that is for certain having to do with the break.     sounds like a tire leak. i wonder if it is the brake actuator. is it buzzing more than usual?
