"The all-electric version was promising..." The last Clarity was a response to the Mirai. The timing meant it didn't take advantage of the partnership with GM, and all their FCEV knowledge. There was once a FCEV planned with GM that would have eventually replaced the Clarity. It just appears the partnership is doing BEVs only now.
