Honda considers $14 billion plan for EV production in Canada, Nikkei reports | Reuters The project could be one of Honda's largest investments, the report said. HONDA now the Japanese Tesla?! This New Plan changes EVERYTHING
Honda is as likely to surpass Tesla As GM is likely To surpass Tesla because Gm & Honda Have a joint venture going for their ev come up-in's - iirc. Kind of similar story as the Toyota fuel cell ..... maybe in 10 years? .
I'm so exasperated by the shipping racket between Canada and the US. It's financially impossible for small businesses to afford to sell their products across the border. But if you're a big multi-national corporation the cost is next to nothing. I have an Eco-poetry anthology business and it costs twice as much as our anthology book's cover price to sell it to someone in Canada. Likewise, a colleague in Canada who also has a business selling her own eco-poetry anthology can't find a way to ship to the US that doesn't cost more than the cover price on her book. We've often joked about meeting up on boats between the two countries and trade a couple cases of books. Maybe it's not a problem in areas further east, but out here on the west coast it's impossible.
Lol... It will take way longer than 10 years... As in, I don't see Honda & GM proposing to build brand new state of the art EV facilities in California,Nevada, Europe, Texas, China & Mexico, all but one have already been built and are already pumping out thousands of Tesla a week. There's more facilities than that too: List of Tesla factories - Wikipedia
