when washing the hood in the garage I could push on it and here jiggling when pushing .. i then concluded this could be the sound i hear when i hit bumps on the street.. (because of having 44psi in the front tires) Is there something i can tighten to rreduece the rattling noise ?

It is a spiral looking piece that when tightened/loosened it will go down/up. You have to balance this height with the latch assyembly being able to latch too. Make sure that the bolts that bolt the hood on are tight. let me know what you find. The stops will contact the hood so open and close the hood close to the point of being closed and look under the hood to find these adjustment pieces. D Rock
