Hood won't close

    put a black bra (purchased for me for Christmas from Toyota dealer) and the hood won't close after I put it on - any suggestions? Thanks! ;)

    go braless? Seriously, check to see where it's binding or catching in the latch or whatever, and adjust.

    off hand you may want to check the hood... i'll call them "spacer"... the little black soft pieces attached to bolts that you can adjust up or down. (.. i think i recall the prius having those) they may have too small of a gap now. i'll go look at my car for possible solutions... will post later...

    Had the same problem. I think it either has to do with the rubber "L" spacers on the far left and right of the hood or the middle portion (where the logo is) has slid too low. I fiddled with both and closed the hood with a bit more force and it closes. With the bra, however, it always takes 2-3 tries to close the hood vs. without the bra.

    BTW, after additional research, I think its better to go braless unless you plan to drive on really gravelly roads. Over time the paint will become uneven (due to the exposure to the sun) and if even a little dirt gets under the bra, the bra will actually scratch your paint as it shifts around.
