How can I lock my Prius with the engine/heater on?

    I want to be able to turn the car on and warm up the cab before I drive but need to lock the door until I'm ready. How can I do this?

    Oh yea it's a base model w/o SKS

    1. Use the manual door lock switch on the driver's door; or
    2. Use the mechanical key located within the fob, to lock the driver's door.
