I know if a dealership advertises a car as Four Touring but is actually a Four then they'd get into crap ton of trouble that isn't worth doing but what if there's some evil nice person person who would do this...what are things I can check to make sure it's the Four Touring? Getting the PCP btw. Does the 4 touring trim includes PCP or is it separate?
See the comparison tables HERE. My understanding is the Premium Convenience Package is an option for both Four and Four Touring. Naturally the most obvious difference is the 15 vs 17" wheels, but other differences are shownn comparison tables linked above
Don't forget that the 4 touring has the fog lights as well. The regular 4 has a moon roof and no fog lights.
Wonder why they didn't just call the 4T a 5?.... Oh. I get it. Its the v. Toyota should've just caller it an alpha like every place else. Then you wouldn't have mods adding little blurbs to everyone's Prius V or v.
Some owners were crabby when the solar roof was not available on the top model of the Gen 3. The whole 4 vs 4t may be an attempt to not have a top model that does not have features of a lower model. The Alpha in Japan is the + in Europe, we just got the dumb name, with Australia.
Try doing a Google search of the VIN number for the vehicle's description. You can do this with a smart phone while you are at the dealer location. Also, of course, the window sticker will be very clear about every detail of the car.
Yep.. the 3 distinct differences you can see right away: 4 Tour = 17" wheels and the 5-spoke mag like look wheels. Fog lights 4 = 15" wheels ("hybrid" looking wheels), no fogs. If there is a moonroof, it's NOT a Tour.
