About to buy a used Prius and need to figure out what package it has...is there anything you can look on to see what package the car has???...VIN, etc??? Thanks for the help...could not find this info on the site.
VIN will only tell you if it has side airbags or not (K20 vs K22). Try and write down as many things as you can see (e.g. does it have a JBL audio system, leather, side airbags, smart key system, auto-dimming mirror, navigation, foglights etc etc). and then when you've got all that, go to the thread below and find the year and then find the package that has everything that you've noted http://priuschat.com/forums/knowled...andard-optional-equipment-most-countries.html
Scott, you can't find it because it doesn't exist. Here's some general guidance: ALWAYS get two fobs. SKS fob has a silver logo. Fog lights always come with HID headlights. DVD NAV unit is under driver's seat. Premium JBL audio system has unit under front passenger seat and 6 CD changer in dash. Rear hatch cover retracts into rectangular bar that fits behind rear seats. Floor mats & trunk mat were accessories which became standard later. Factory leather (when available) only came on a fully loaded car. The 2006-2009 MY are the same car. Happy hunting.
