(hope this isn't a repost) In a debate/discussion w/a friend of mine, he pointed out this page which I never knew about. I had to dig around on the EIA's and PG&E's (my electric utility) web sites to find out the national mix and that of my utility. Just plug in your zip code. CW - Thanks for posting that link! Previously, I was unaware that my area offered a "Green Energy" program. I'll be looking into it more closely this morning, and will likely get on the program... Unless there are some hidden gotcha's in the program that others may point out here.
I use green energy, 100% of my power is from wind or solar. I pay a little extra but I like the feeling that I am encouraging more wind farms and solar installations.
