It is a parallel hybrid that sounds to be more blended PHEV than EREV. Also seems to be more of a power hybrid. Found no mention of a heat pump. It does have a 7.2kW charger, and the automatic transmission has a wet clutch instead of a torque converter. The snow tires likely didn't help with range.
