I push the #1 button on the radio when in the CD mode, which is supposed to activate the Random/Shuffle play and it still plays the songs in that folder in order. Ideally I'd like to know how to not only randomly play the songs in a particular folder randomly but how do I get the player to randomly play songs from different folders. I have many mp3 Cd's with many folders on each of them and I'd like to be able to use the random play for a folder and also for randomly playing all the songs on the Cd. Is this possible? I don't have the high priced radio/Cd player. And btw, I have a new 2011 Prius.
To play files from a particular folder in random order Press (RAND). To play all of the files on a disc in random order Press and hold (RAND) until you hear a beep. Page 324 in the manual.
Thank you 9G. I missed the part about the beep for some reason. Life just got a little more enjoyable!!!
I know this is an 8 year old post but if anyone reads this is there a method to randomly play all discs at once? Maybe holding Rand until hearing 2 beeps hehe. Just checking
