I took a look at our Prius and it looks like you have to romove the top part of the hood latch area to gain acess to the radiator. Also there is some kind of sensor in the middle of the radiator. Is that sensor safe to block? Also what is the best material and what temps do you have to remove the blocker; when its 50 or 60 degrees outside? I am really curious to know because I do not know of any 2010 car you need to block the grill to increase miles per gallon. Do the benefits far out weigh any risk? Also I noticed nothing in the owners manual about grill blocking. Also what would be difference in MPG's with the a 2010 Prius grill blocked and another 2010 Prius not blocked? alfon
Read this thread. Make sure you don't just read the first few posts and say that it wasn't informative. There is some good information throughout the entire thread. http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-ii-prius-modifications/26675-first-morning-blocked-grill.html
Also, please refer to following thread. http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii...62556-2010-prius-grill-blocking-strategy.html One note, please do not block the radiator directly. We will need air flow for the radiator after blocking the grill for better function of the radiator. Ken@Japan
