More than 2 weeks ago, I ordered a received hitch from Coastal Electronic Technologies, or at least thought I did. I received no confirmation number or email, and my credit card has not been charged. I sent email to them at [email protected], which they never answered, and called them at (800)507-2234, which also no one answers. Does this company actually exist or is it just a fake website? If it exists, is there an alternate way of contacting them that works? Is there an alternate source for receivers? Web search doesn't find one. MikeT
I ordered a hitch about a week ago through their website. I got a reply email yesterday that said they were currently out of stock, and would not charge my card until it was shipped. It's a small operation; you just have to be patient. rpm
I know that Costal is a big supporter of Priuschat, but there is another source. I bought my hitch through hitchweb.com. It's made by DaLan, and is a bolt on installation with eyelets for a safety chain. Just another option. (I have no connection with hitchweb or DaLan other than being a satisfied customer. I've purchased 4 hitches from them for various cars)
