I took my 2004 Prius in a couple of weeks ago to have the oil changed, etc. They said it needed a good alignment, which they did. After I got in the car, the bars on the pictured battery were PINK!!! Scared me to death! It
I would recommend just driving around a while and see how it does. Performing an alignment requires the technician to place the car in neutral with the car powered on and this disables the charging of the HV battery. The tech should have driven the car afterwards to recharge the HV battery pack and then everything would have appeared normal. This is one of those extras, like resetting radio codes after battery disconnect, that hybrid techs should focus into so the customer is not inconvenienced.
They had the car in ready and in neutral, I bet. The engine cannot recharge the battery in neutral. The computer would have shut down the car rather than let them harm the battery.
