how hot is too hot to roll with the windows down on the battery bank in the back of the car? ie: 95F+

not that I would drive with the windows down at that kinda temp, just wondering what affect it has.

Battery air intake fan has 6 speeds (7 if you count OFF). When the battery temp read over 111 deg F and outside temp was around 90 deg F, my fan was running at speed #3.

Not much as long as there is air circulation. I never use my AC unless it's over 105deg. I've been driving for years in 95+ temps with my driver's side window down and the rear passenger window cracked to reduce noise. This hasn't been a problem for the car.

The standard answer is "If you are uncomfortable, so is the battery."

The -reason- you don't find a definitive number stated anywhere is there isn't one. The hotter the battery, the worse it is for it. Below "room temperature" the colder the battery the worse it is for it.
The battery will last the longest just below room temp. which is usually considered STP (standard temperature and pressure), between 20 and 25C.
