Australian. they climb the walls. I have seen them around here, even in my own bedroom but they are more common in the east. But why does he have an english accent?
C'mon, Pat, aren't some things better left for people to discover on their own? Are you saying the gecko is uniquely Australian? I thought they lived in warm climates all over. The last one I spoke with sounded more Californian than Cockney.
I don't know where else they live, I just know they live here. Just because I haven't seen them anywhere else doesn't mean they don't live anywhere else. Well they don't live in bloody England then, do they? I once saw a heap of green frogs in a toilet bowl in Queensland, but I think they live other places too.

Geckos are small to average sized lizards belonging to the family Gekkonidae, found in warm climates throughout the world. From Wiki Looks like you wont find too many in England. So tell me, why does he have a pommy accent?
The southern coast of England is surprisingly warm. The Gulf Stream keeps that part of the world much warmer than it would be otherwise. Tom
Only warm from the perspective of someone who lives in a freezer. It was 39 C here today, that is a tad warm. Temps will hit the high 30s all week this week.
Good point. Our temp is 28 right now, so it's almost as warm. It doesn't really matter that we use different scales, does it? Getting back to England, many people are surprised to find palm trees growing in southern England. The English make a big deal about it. What they don't tell you is that the palms in England came from the Himalaya mountains and are anything but tropical in nature. Tom
