Can you go past zero? I know wirh my 2013 Prius, i had another 150 miles at 0. Fill up were 8.9 to 10 gallon fillups. What is it for the prime?
Yap, at DTE zero, you actually have close to 2gal of gas left in the tank. You can go 100 miles easily after gas empty light comes on. See my comment in this thread: Total Range for the Prime? | Page 3 | PriusChat
Seems pretty similar to my Gen II. It would start flashing the last pip and only take 9.5 gallons (with the last gallon drizzled in, those pumps have touchy pressure sensors). So "NEED GAS NOW!!!!" meant - NEED gas in about 100 miles, don't start sweating just yet. Going to be interesting to learn how much I should expect my Prime to take since miles/MPG is a worthless calculation.
When my Prime got to 12 miles remaining I had 1.4 gallons in the tank according to the 9.9 gallon fillup.
