How to aim headlights?

    I'd like to aim my headlights myself. Does anyone know how this is done? I have the HID's that come with the BC option. Thanks.

    For HID its adjust automatically, I dont think you can over ride the system

    Unless they are off, why would you want to touch them? There are legal requirements for headlight positioning.

    Even though they're self leveling, there's a "preset" aim that needs to be adjusted, but only if they're off. Service manual outlines the best way to handle this.

    I'd suggest paying the $10 for techinfo.toyota.com and downloading the PDF's relevant to that procedure.

    Self-Leveling means that if you put 20 bags of mulch in the back, the headlights will still point straight instead of pointing up in the air like the nose of the car :)

    This avoids having your low beams blind people because the front of the car is pointing up.
