How to check if the decfect issues rectified

    I am currently living in Asia country where most of the used cars are imported from the US. These cars normally do not come with service record (not sure if this because the dealer does not want to show it).

    I am now planning to get a 05/06 Prius but as I researched around, this version of the prius had been recalled by Toyota due to some defect reasons.

    Could you please advise how to check if all the recalled issued has been rectified on the particular car that I will inspect?

    If you know the VIN, you can see all service ever performed at a US Toyota dealer.
