Recently had my windows tinted and a bunch of of the solution used to install the tint dripped onto my hatch cover. Tried to clean it with meguair's interior detailer and a blue shop towel but the spots didn't come out. Any better ideas on what I should try? I'm thinking maybe a microfiber towel drenched in just water. My only concern is that the water would absorb into the cover. But it feels like its made of some kind of water proof material. Thoughts?
It sounds like your cover got discolored, rather than soiled. If it's discolored, then AFAIK there is no fix for this problem. If it's something removable, then Mr. Clean's "Magic Eraser" may work.
