Hi Folks, I would like to know how to removed the PC's front dashboard in full as there is rattling sound coming from there and i would like to check and tighten up if there is any loose stuff hanging... Picture will be most helpful. Many thanks...
I believe you will find it easier to begin bottom right rather than at the top. There is a gap there that allowed me to remove it with my fingers rather than using any tool. If you find what is causing your rattle, it might be useful to others to describe where you found it and what you did to correct it. Good luck. This video will get you started; if you go further, please keep us informed about your quest. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the good info, just a question how do i place the 2 clips back the top after i have snap it off from the cluster?
Sorry no one got back to you sooner. In order to replace the clips, you pull OUT on the center of the clip - the same center that you push IN to remove.
thanks got it...i have tight some loose wires with cables tight that giving a lot of rattling sound, but there is another metal hitting sound when there is passing through the uneven road from below our knees where the Knee airbag is....any one accouter this? i could not find the rootcause of it..
seriously, if you have kids there may be errant change like pennies or dimes bouncing around that got into gaps/vents,,, i hope not,,, perhaps a french fry or two that the mice dragged in,,, or a relay that keeps clicking,,,
