How to remove vent system buttons?

    Hey, everybody.
    Have prius 30 2011 US model.
    Have 2 unworking buttons at the vent system (temperature + and recerculation)
    I had fully distrucion of the windshield and I think some parts of the glass could penetrate under it, or mb it just oxidation. Want to check it, but scary to broke something.
    I have to pop-up the buttons with something like small screwdriver or need to demount all panel like I have to remove the radio?

    First, be sure that NONE of the climate control "buttons" are stuck DOWN.
    On my first Prius, one of them would stick often; don't remember which one.
    I eventually fixed it with a tiny bit of silicone spray and compressed air.
