You turn off ac by pushing the ac button while fan is on. This is on the climate controls on the center multifuntion display. This also will turn in ac if pressed again. Press to turn on, press to turn off. Same button
just hit the fan up/down button. if the a/c comes on, it's because the auto button had been depressed previously. just hit a/c to shut it off, or auto if necessary. you can't use auto if you want manual control of the hvac system.
