I'm curious about something... On the Gen III Prius, is the Battery indicator that is displayed on the HSI an actual 0-100% charge indication of the battery? Or is that range that we see something more along the lines of 30-70% charge state of the battery as a whole, i.e. the top and bottom of the battery meter are essentially just a cutout of the middle of the total battery range?
The latter is correct. It's neither fully charged if it's showing 8 bars nor it's near completely depleted if it's showing 1 bar.
