HV battery terminal strap / bridge

    Hi guys,

    After a month of cycling batteries I'm about ready to reinstall...

    One question before I do though...

    When taking the battery apart i recall a metal strap over the two HV leads. If i recall each of the leads had a metal outer casing, I assume these had a voltage but maybe they were insulated...

    Can anyone confirm if this strap goes over the metal outer case and the case are insulated or she whether the strap was rather close to the metal but not actually touching them?

    Lay the orange cables in place.
    Put the strap on to the two upward facing bolts. It will align itself.
