I was riding my bicycle around the neighborhood yesterday and saw this shiny monstrous beast proudly parked in front of someone's house. There were Hybrid logos large and small all over the vehicle, even on the rear window glass. The 'Hybrid' badges on the front sides are hideously HUGE! What a disturbing sight. Leave it to GM to redefine smug...
Yeah, I've been seeing them for a while now here in NYC... I never understoof the big deal with them, and now with what they charge for the hybrid system... It'll take a LONG time to make up the difference considering there is so little gained in the city mpg. Yep, people love paying big bucks for that little green hybrid x logo thing on the side air vents. On a side note, a guy where I work has an Escalade. Would you believe when I sit in the back my damned knees hit the back of his seat. That doesn't even happen in a Prius with the seats back all the way...
