Saturday we had an EV and plug-in event at the local Whole Foods but I felt like we were taking coals to Newcastle. It really wasn't taking our cars to folks in the bedroom communities around us. So I began to wonder about some sort of efficient car rally: Start location from home - document time and place with cell phone photo. Route defined by Google with expected distance and time - everyone has their own route. Common ending point and time at a bedroom community event (aka., County fair, parade, football game) points for efficiency, speed, accuracy Show-off cars and share the results to the public about 1-2 hours Enjoy event, dinner, and home That is about as far as I've gotten but the idea is to encourage folks to show off our rides and help educate those in bedroom communities that you don't have to live in a 'big City' to enjoy the benefits.
