Have a 2012 Prius V with ATP. On the dashboard immediately to the left of the digital clock there is a graphical display showing milage and driving energy use. After about a month, the display has gone away and can't figure out how to get it back on. User's manual doesn't reference that display. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks
See page 198 of user's manual. Press DISP button (top left on steering wheel) to change between showing current fuel, average fuel, cruising range, SET screen.
Isn't the 'Hybrid System Indicator' always shown? This is the little 'curved up to the right' steps of bars that range from CHG, EV, ECO and PWR zones. Left on display. Looks like the Energy Monitor is dispalyed on the 6.1" touchscreen and I imagine the 7" touchscreen as well. I actually like the HSI a lot in the '11 as it helps me keep out of the PWR zone to save gas.
Oh, the Hybrid System Indicator. It is possible to turn it off by pressing DISP until you see SET on the trip info display, the hold DISP for 1 second or more until SET is flashing, then each time you press DISP (while SET is flashing) you cycle through all, some, or no icons on left side (hybrid system, EV, and Eco driving icons). See page 203 of owners manual.
Ok, not really a screen, but it has the text SET where the instant MPG, average MPG, or range is shown on the dashboard. It can be blank as well.
