Hybrid system warning light

    I left for a vacation for two weeks. When I returned my Prius started but the check hybrid system light came on. I backed it out of my driveway and then back. This morning I turned the car on, and the engine light came on, but the check hybrid system light did not. I rolled it forward 5 feet and the brakes sound terrible. Could it be moisture and dust from two weeks of non use? I am over an hour from a Toyota dealership so I would prefer not to tow it. Any thoughts.

    If no lights are on you’re good as for brakes that’s normal due to rust

    normal, prius brakes rust when not used. the sound is just cleaning the rust off.

    is it the original 12v battery?
