I'm going to Hybridfest this year. I plan on leaving from work around noon and arriving Friday late afternoon. Who wants to split a hotel room Friday and Saturday night?
Aww... no MPG Challenge for you this year. Dang. The on-site hotel suites have either - 1 king bed plus a pull out queen sofa-bed $99.99 - 2 queen beds plus a pull out queen sofa-bed. $109.99 So theoretically if you chose the second option you could fit three people in the suite without having to share beds. If all the rooms are full, let me know I have an overflow hotel about 10 miles away.
I have a two bed room on reserve. I dont think my parents are going with me this year so I might have an extra bed available. I still dont have anyone going with me to Cedar Point or Kings Island so those trips might be canceled unless someone wants to join me. http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-ii-...-green-drive-expo-2009-kings-island-trip.html
I have long held that when I meet Kow I will buy him a beer and we'll drink and laugh. I just hope we don't meet in church. Boy, that was awkward. Jay, I can go in on that 2-bed room. If we get a third, that's $110/3=$37 apiece.
Forgot to mention, the hotel has complimentary hot breakfast. Also on Saturday night, from 5-6pm there is free beer/wine and munchies for hotel guests. That's where we will hang out until the dinner is served back at the Exhibition Hall banquet room. (If you aren't a hotel guest then you have to pay cash for the hotel drinks.) I know some people are camping instead, but man, for $37 a person, it seems like a good deal to stay at the hotel. If you guys haven't reserved a room yet, you might want to do it. Some of the larger exhibitors are starting to book their rooms and that may fill things up with their staff.
Um, I was just kidding, you know that, right?? I was trying to make an innuendo. I'm the bald gorilla. Get it?? :boink: <sigh> Never mind .... out:
Good point. I'm not always nice; I can be bad upon request. I should watch what I say, though, for fear of losing my room. And Jayman, yeah, I was referring to TheForce in that earlier post.
