I’ve been an electric-car owner for 10 months now, and here’s what makes me happy. Each morning I get into a fully fueled car because mine charges overnight on 110 current. Gas stations are for grabbing a Coke* (I’ll address the asterisk shortly). Electric cars have rich torque, so they’re typically fun to drive. Quiet, too. Theoretically, they require much less maintenance. And I never, ever worry about getting stranded. . . . Bob Wilson
