There's another hybrid article on Wired. This one compares several hybrids, including the Prius. They say the Prius "has adequate performance, if you don't care about performance." I'd say it has better than adequate performance. Here's the link: Hybrids Hed2Hed
Flashy TV-blurb speak. Though the Toyota Highlander hybrid does look interesting. BTW, is the Chevy Silverado Hybrid different from that other truck GM was selling -- the "hype-brid" -- that had an electric fuel pump, and was calling itself a hybrid?
