I've been doing a little pulse & glide with the work van and have been squeezing better than 20 mpg combined from it. The EPA is 15 mpg combined. Not a bad percent increase! It's a 2002 GMC Safari AWD cargo van. I was toying around on fueleconomy.gov and was surprised to find that it produces more greenhouse gasses per year than the 2005 Chevy Colorado here at work (12.2 and 10.2 tons/year, respectively). That's strange since the Colorado stinks up the whole shop garage and you can hardly smell the Safari. I guess smelly compounds are different than greenhouse gas totals. Anyone hypermiling Peterouts, Freightshakers, Intersmashionals or Kenworthless ?? Eric
