Good on you Hyundai Canada. By the way, I would like to know who stole the Y out of Hyundai in North America? The Australian ad slogan for Hyundai when the brand hit the Aussie market was, "Say hi to Hyundai!" Repeat after me, hi-un-day, now faster.
Its the F'd up public school systems here that stole the Y. It seems proper grammar has taken a back seat to everything else. Not many people can pronounce Chicago properly anymore. it is shi-caw-go, not shi-ca-go. Or the one that burns me up, dod instead of dad.
It was Hyundai's America's marketing guru decided to drop the Y to make it sound more American than a name from a Asian country. Now say por-sha after me, not por-shh.
I googled "Tripta Kaushal" the driver of the BMW SUV and looks like she lost her son to cancer earlier in the year. Not a good year for her.
Yeah the "Hyun" part is Korean and it'll be hard to say if you're not fluent in any Asian language. Pat's got it down... just say hi-un-dai fast and you're fairly close. Hyun is kinda like... "h-une"
