P0A80 P3012 P3013 P0A93 I have a 2007 Prius, Big Triangle, VSC, engine check light, steering light all on, Big Car “!” light on! I just bought a OBD scanner, it came out above codes. I understand that I need to replace the Hybrid Battery core. But I just paid $250 for the P0A93 inverted coolant pump 2 years ago. Why will it happen again? Does your professionals think that it may be the P0A80 cause the electrical issues stopping the power supply to the inverter pumper that cause this P0A93? do you think it will resolve by replacing the new Hybrid battery core? thank you so much for help!
13 year old vehicles have things go bad. Sometimes the same thing twice. But yes you need to resolve the battery issue FIRST. And even before that, you need to check the 12 V battery. Sometimes a weak 12 V will cause false codes to be set. And I personally think that you NEED to consider it carefully before you spend a lot of money on a new HV battery. Usually "reconditioned" ones are not a good value for your money. And a car that old can be expected to have other things fail too as time goes along.
P3012, P3013... cell block 2 & 3 ha become weak hance the P0A80 code.. I would check inverter pump first and it is the cheapest part to replace if it indeed has failed, cheaper if you could DIY... Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
