Although my "reply" tab is blocked on 8AA's "too many polls" thread, at the time I voted there was a slight majority of respondents who had voted "yes" (4-3). I'm an older, semi-retired guy with too much time on my hands, spending too much time here. I was just trying to do polls I thought others might be interested in as well as myself, both Prius-related and not. To those annoyed, sorry.
I like the polls, I voted for Bill every time. Your polls do not even run a close second to the endless "How do I turn off the Maint Required Light" posts.
I like your polls, I like Bill, and the only reason there is a "B" is to give people something to ask questions about. You could write a poll about it.
Aw c'mon man, there's always someone who isn't going to appreciate or agree with you, I enjoy them, you're not offending anyone, they're well within guidelines, but more importantly, they add color. I say keep on truckin' man!
The whole thing with Bill was just a more or less spontaneous joke; I picked up on a cue from Mystery Squid and ran with it a little. For the record, I even told Bill, to be sure it wouldn't upset him. What can I say? I'm a bit of a prankster. I guess even what one thinks are little, fun things can blow up in one's face. Even though only 12 people have registered opinions on that thread, it being evenly divided is enough for me. I didn't join PC to be a lightning rod.
Bill's still a cool guy though. Again, anyone who puts the HSD thingy on his forehead, takes a pic. and puts it on the internet is thumbs-way-up! B)
Yeah, poll away! I answer all the ones I can relate to as well and enjoy them. I can't understand how someone posting 'too many polls' can upset someone, honestly. If it does upset someone, that someone can just choose not to participate in the poll rather than complaining about how too many polls can be upsetting to them. Just MHO.
