Just got my car today. Drove two hours to a not so local dealer. Averaged 20.1 mpg on the way down. Traded the car in, got my Prius, and drove it back home. Almost 50mpg on the return trip, 80% interstate 70-80mph, and the rest state highway 45-55mph. I'm just impressed.
If you are impressed now.... Wait til summer . You will probably be getting 60mpg. Congrats on the new Prius!
Thanks. I was very close to changing my mind because the color I really liked wasn't available in a 2, and I didn't want to pay the upgrade to a 3. Looked long and hard at a blur crush Corolla S plus, but in the end stayed with the Prius because I've wanted one and have changed my mind multiple times since getting rid of my 04 Prius. While the Corolla has the looks, the Prius fits me better, and I like not using gas.
