All the lights were on check hybrid system and the battery was fully charged. It goes to purple within 2 minutes then back to fully green within 1 minute Toyota gave me these codes yesterday. I’m in Southeast Richmond VA!
It also had theses code I forgot to mention B1421- Solar Sensor Circuit Passenger Side B1422 - Compressor Lock Sensor Circuit B1424 - Solar Sensor Circuit Driver Side
You have a failed HV pack. Disregard most other codes till you have it and the 12v battery fully working; most of those are tripping because the HV side of the car isn't working properly and will disappear once things are back in order. Camry HV batteries aren't cheap! GOOD LUCK!
Do you do your own work? If so, take an actual look of the battery pack. In at least one Camry hybrid, a failed battery code was from excessive corrosion on the connectors between the stacks. Cleaning them up fixed it. Though age and mileage points to needing a new pack.
Ok so I took the battery and here was the result Toyota looked at my codes bc my old computer with techstream broke.
I was thinking of this casecan't seem to get the Imgur link to work, but this article has it, Toyota Camry Hybrid Battery: Electrician Spent $10, Not $4,000, To Fix) Your bus bars(the green plates in the picture) look worse than what that guy had; they are copper. So replacing or cleaning them could be all that is needed. Test the cells first. Either way the pack has to come out of the car. An important warning before you begin, this is work around bare high voltage connections. It is dangerous. Here are the rules for working with it: https://www.nist.gov/system/files/documents/el/isd/mmc/high_voltage_rules_revised.pdf If uncomfortable at all doing this, call an electrician. Also the pack is heavy; around 100 pounds. If you are unable to do the work, and can't find someone that will, there are couple members here that refurbish hybrid packs. Such will be cheaper than going through a dealer.
[Should I get someone else to fix it? I work 33 minutes from home southeast Richmond va to Ashland va. Ashland is where I work. I work at the family dollar I’n Ashland VA. I need some options? I’m off on Wednesday and Saturday’s and on Sunday. It’s nice a red Camry 2011. I was looking at Macs in Ashland va since it’s close to where I work!
Also got a new code yesterday from code reader P0AC1 - Hybrid Battery Pack Current Sensor 'A' Circuit Low
That corrosion is something I typically see after a few years on my electric golf car (cart). The interconnect points seem to corrode at the end of a string and there is a lot less power. A good cleaning with a brush and some battery contact cleaner and they are good for another 6 months. Different battery chemistry inside the battery but the same green powder look. Do as Trollbait suggested and have a professional play in that area. The juice is enough to stop your heart.
