Maybe I haven't researched enough, but does anyone know if they make coverings or plastic to protect the black door jams. When you enter your car, rocks or dirt will eventually scrape this up. Thanks in advance.
Jams belong on toast. Jambs are vertical structures. Silly you say? I would adhere to Dark_Prius's advice should all else fail.
I see what you did there! Right... sills... that's the word. Makes me wonder what the habanero and jam would taste like. I might still try a clear 3M paint protective strip.
The pieces are not very expensive so I would just replace them if they get so bad they bother you. Using a interior plastic treatment will help hide the scuff marks and the slick surface may reduce scratching.
Thanks for the recipe. Now about the sills/jambs/jams - never really noticed them on my cars till now. Now I can't stop thinking about 'em.
I would rather pay 20 bucks for some tape instead of replacing. Estimates on pricing for new ones? Tomorrow I'm going to see if I can big box store carries something usable. Ill try and post pics if I find something. To me its just like floor mats... you know you are going to step there, so why not protect the car. Sorry ewaboy!
