Last Memorial Day weekend I went with a friend to several Toyota dealers in San Fernando/Santa Clarita/Conejo Valley areas to go Prius Shopping. Stupid me had to have a hamburger or a hot dog at each dealership that had a barbeque. I got sick and missed work on Tuesday and Wednesday. I lost 15 pounds from not eating. Toyota makes wonderful cars, but stay away from their hot dogs and hamburgers.
I sure wish I could lose 15 lbs just by not eating for 2 days! Depending on your size and level of activity you probably burn between 1,500 and 2,500 calories per day. There are 3,600 calories in a lb of fat. If you are large and very active you can lose about 1.5 lbs of fat by fasting for 2 days.
