Filled up my "new to me" 2010 hatchback today. I've been itching to get gas so I could see for my own eyes how much it took and calculate the mileage. The "ecometer" was telling me that I was getting 51.5 miles per gallon when I pulled into the station. Much to my surprise, my calculated mileage was 51.57. I was expecting to find a 3% - 4% discrepancy between the computer and my calculator... and instead found no difference (at least on this tank).
