ICE Engine replacement: Who would you suggest near San Jose?

    I have two Gen 2 that getting to the point where they need a new ICE.
    I've done all my own maintenance since they were new and I really like knowing exactly what condition they are in. OTOH, it's a big job and I may not have enough time.
    Has anyone had that level of work done around here? (ie. San Jose or Santa Cruz)

    Luscious is first-rate. It's about 90 minutes from here, I haven't heard of a place like that in my neighborhood.
    Just to be sure I thought I would ask here.
    I guess it's either luscious or I rent a lift and have some friends over for the weekend to make a party of it.

    You probably only need an engine short block sub-assembly, which is available new from Toyota. Mine was done in southern California. The job took one week.
