Saw the 2006 package 5 for the first time today and noticed that it has the buttons for map and info on the upper right of the steering wheel. I assume that these buttons are there because they are part of the set that includes the phone controls (pkg 5 has bluetooth). Does anyone know if the map and info button do anything? If not, it would be a great place to add a mod control - like the EV switch perhaps? Any other ideas for the use of these buttons? Someone stop me if these buttons control anything.
Well, the Info button gives you the consumption screens (mpgs, trip average, tank average, etc). The Bluetooth buttons are separate from the Info button-there are 2 of them and they have little pictures of telephones on them. Not sure why a package 5 would have a Map button though, on my package 8 the Map button brings up the Navigation map/destination pages.
